I had a teacher in the eighth grade that had a baseball bat sawed in half that she loved to use on her students. She always had a big smile on her face when she slung her fat arm back and let it rip. Well she hit a boy so hard that we saw his feet come off the ground and she hit him with the slightest mislick and he ended up having a t*sticle removed due to it. That is why you can't due that ridiculous crap anymore.

Quit blaming teachers for poor parenting. Discipline begins at home. And you don't have to paddle your kid if you know what the **** you're doing.

You're preaching to the choir ford. And once again some whining liberals got their way and took the paddle out of the principals hand. Screw them put it back.

Busting a few tails does need to be started at home! What does the 21st century have to do with that. It worked then it would work now, if it was just done. Instead y'all are either raising entitled punks or entitled pansies.

The facts still are the same the teachers have it made but figured out by whining they could get more and more. Well the wheels are about to run off that train because when the cuts start coming from Washington on down to Raleigh the schools will be the first to be cut.

When a student needs his *** beat they should just be expelled for the rest of the year and let the parents worry about educating them.

We crossed up on that one Henry lol

HT, since public school cannot or will not provide education for the kids are you now in favor of vouchers?

Beenthere, let the security guards handle security and leave everything else to the faculty. As to Ford his ideas worked back when I was in school but it's a whole different scenario nowadays. The kids were disciplined at home before they were of school age so the incidents of misbehavior were few and far between. Nowadays you have kids who have never known discipline in the home and if you apply corporal punishment to them they're likely to hit back especially the higher grades. Like I said seek help Ford a good shrink might get you into the 21st century although probably kicking and screaming. It's a whole different world now the dinosaurs are extinct.

That's a thing of the long gone past Ford, you can't even look at em cross eyed. Discipline should be handled at home anyway and taking away the computer and tv would go a long way but those are the go to baby sitters. Besides, there is the scare factor for teachers due to students having no discipline therefore no regard for others.

I keep getting flagged, y'all. No idea why. I have tried to respond twice.

Maybe if kids were actually punished instead of being talked through their wrong doings, teachers wouldn't have to worry about disruptive, violent students. They need to start busting some tails again!

I'm a little unsure of what you are saying Henry. Redo that one for my heat induced brain failure.

Ford, get help!

59ford

They could just hit the disruptive students over the head with a laptop.

henryii

What is the possibility of having a security guard for the purposes of security only. Problems like disruptive students, fights etc. to be dealt with by members of the faculty.

I would like to know your thoughts on that ht. Is it more a race issue for the school system here or is it the thought that the money could be better used for nurses, counselors, etc. I know a lot of teachers and school systems became very disgruntled with sro's after the Marjory Stoneman/Scot Peterson tragedy.

59ford

So ht, since you say you teach in a school where shots were fired, you must not teach here. How do you feel about these teacher's unions wanting to take SRO's off campus?

Affy just doesn't want any new blood messing up that inbred vibe he's worked a lifetime to cultivate.

henryii

Here he goes off on one of his tangents, exactly where did I say they should do things the way they do them where I come from? T he clown doesn't know if I came from somewhere else or not. I can tell him this I know enough about this county and the people in it to realize it's people like Fin who enjoy the corruption which is rife.
