We have inadequate background checks also, you can buy guns privately with no background check. If you yourself are a gun owner that's more than enough proof that the gun control laws are inadequate.

Ok thanks and honestly social media is a great place to take action. I look at Ashe uncensored every day and even though I do not post I am thrilled at what I see regarding pedophilia. All it takes is people reading and getting angry and speaking out. It gets spread far and wide and it really does matter. Maxwell is horrified not just because of her powerful friends but the angry and fed up people that despise what she has done.

You are right Fins and that is why I would love to see everyone that uses this site as well as all of the others out there to speak out about abuse of any kind regarding children. Social media is a powerful POWERFUL tool that needs to be censored and used productively. Yes I said censored. That is what our government selectively does best and our children's safety should be on that censored list.

Dog and I have been telling you since the beginning, SRO's are a waste fo money. We told you, spend the money on more psychologists to identify the problems early. Now y'all are saying we were right all along.
I have also said teachers need to identify the problems early, when they are fixable. Not keep passing them along until they are big problems and it's too late to fix. Consequences need to be swift and appropriate. If it takes weeks or months after the crime for punishment to be handed down, the kid doesn't mentally connect the two.
The other problem though is social media. There's a whole cult following on social media of school shooters. They idolize these killers and have made them cult celebrities. But social media doesn't do anything about this because they say it would be censorship. Look at the the history. School shootings and violent assaults were on a steady decline for years, even though the news made it look otherwise. But an increase in school violence can be pinpointed of starting the same year as the biggest social media outlet went online.

Some of us would like to go back but you can't. Your idea is not going to work because you're going to end up with knock down drag outs in the classroom, and visualize this a 5'0" 100lb female teacher having a physical confrontation with a 5'10" 180lb 9th grader. It's happened even without corporal punishment being involved. Get it in your head things are different and YOU CAN"T GO BACK!
